Driven by the creation of the healthcare interoperability framework initiated by the HHS “Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT,” as well as the Dec. 2019 “Transparency in Coverage” proposal that would require insurers to disclose price and cost-sharing information, Health Data Report will provide data and intelligence regarding the new compliance requirements for payers, providers, developers and healthcare companies. In May 2022, the Securities and Exchange Commission proposed rules to enhance climate-related disclosures for investors. Those rules, while largely overlooked by mainstream media, are poised to standardize, legitimize and transform the distributed “cottage industry” of ESG experts, platforms, data services and advisors that currently serve the nascent sustainability market. In December of 2019, the Federal Aviation Administration proposed new rules that would require all unmanned aircraft systems — commonly known as drones — to be identified remotely and automatically. This “Remote ID” regulation is aimed at enhancing security and safety, and will have major implications for commercial operators, from Amazon and Google to UPS and medical centers.
